Cubacel is the service provider (CUBACEL: Unidad de Negocios Móvil de ETECSA). It is government owned of course. The biggest restriction is that very few Cubans will be able to afford to buy a phone or pay for the service. I use a London-based GSM phone that I am sure is monitored. I'll PM you a link to a brief video you might find to be of interest.

Hi there, Jim! By the way, now that I have had a chance to take my new PT1911 to the range I can honestly say that we were meant for each other. That is one great pistol!
