I just got lucky, my Kimber has the same trigger setup as my EMP, so I was used to it, smooth, crisp 4lb pull!

Time to come over to the "Dark Side" young padawan! The RIA is a nice pistol for the price - $425 shipped. Trigger pull was smooth and lighter than the XD (getting a trigger job on mine soon) and the sights are much better than the base RIA. Now, if the ammunition price would come down.....

Hi Allen,

I like those targets too but the ones I used were actually inexpensive range targets because I did no thave any with me.

How was the Sunday shoot at Wicens?

geezz... people are so thin skinned some times. . . the 'head' of HR came to see me to ask for me to send out an apology to people that read my previous email.

Titled: Obama on Faith.

This was the message:
Quote:
I’m sure that you guys have seen and heard this, but it’s pretty interesting to hear him correct himself (or try to) and still come off sounding completely out of touch with America.
YouTube - Obama Responds to McCain and Clinton attacks in Terre Haute
Sounds kinda Marxist to me. Remember “Religion is the Opiate of the Masses”?

In case you’re too lazy to watch the video I’ll paraphrase it for you:
People don’t vote on economic issues because they’re frustrated; angry; and bitter and they don’t think government can solve their problems (because their local economy has been in the slump for the last 15-20 years), so instead they cling to traditional family values; support gun ownership; and cling to their faith.

Be very wary of people that promise that government can cure society’s ills. We know who the real great Physician is, and His name isn’t Uncle Sam. J

Likewise, be even more wary of people that ascribe the “popularity of faith or religion” with anything other than the fact that humans were created for intimacy with the Almighty.
Apparently, the type in bold is what was really offensive.

When people find the truth offensive, they usually demand an apology. This rational has been used in many a despotic, dictatorship style of government. Sorry to hear you are living that in your w@&k life.
