Can't get letters of support, our contact at the partner org is not returning my phone calls, etc.

Apparently snakes are not the only cold blooded creatures in this sad story. Though there is nothing the will bring Gage back there should still be justice for him. Ray Stanfill is a cruel man, a murderer, and he deserves the punishment an murderer deserves. I deeply feel for Britt and family. I lost my lab Barley for 1 night, before I found him, and that was the worst feeling, I couldn't imagine seeing Barley laying in my yard, dead, and in the condition Gage was in. Our dogs are our children, we raise them, feed them, teach them, take them to the vet when they are sick, love them. My condolences go out to the torn family Gage left behind. I hope justice is served.

I sure did, very well said! I'm kinda worried the thread I started might take an "interesting" turn...I could see it turning into a "shoot ALL pit bulls" thread if the wrong people see it...it wouldn't be the first time here on XDTalk...

Well, the good thing is since you are the OP then you can just shut down the thread if it gets out of hand that way. I had to do it once before on my Blackwater thread.

There are a lot of uneducated people out there so if it takes that turn you shouldn't let it get to you! Just report the post and say that the thread has surved it's purpose, and request for it to get locked.

You're right....and I'm really not THAT worried about it...most of the "shoot ALL pit bulls" crowd stays pretty quiet on that subject, these days. The last time it was discussed, I was more than happy to argue with them...and arguing with someone who kows what they are talking about can be quite difficult.
