Well intentionally going after a grizz with a 22 is just plain ignorant. but if you have nothing else then use it! My grandpa used to work with the forest service in MT, and they had a guy get attacked by a grizzly and he killed it with a 22 round through the ear into the brain.

When they got the bear they found multiple ( handgun bullets in it, from the 22, .357 mag. to 44 mag, and a 30-06 round! This bear was one that had killed 2 other people earlier in the year.

They make it in both. If you google it, the yellow kits are 460 and the orange kits are 500
