Kidney stones are caused by soda, salt, and fried foods?? That's practically all I eat and drink, and I haven't had any stones. *knocking on wood* ....

I feel bad for all you guys who get stones. It sounds really truly horrible. I can't imagine going through all of that. Eeeesh....

On a happier note, my kids started at their new school yesterday, and I got to drop them off this morning for their 2nd day. They looked so cute in their little uniforms. They all said they love their new school and the teachers, and that they had fun. Yippee!!

well, time to get to work. Although, I can't consider it "work" sometimes because I have fun doing it. CAD and GIS and DOQQ and NWI, oh my!

..... and top of the page! yeah, baby!!

My stones were/are the result of poor diet and a body thats not working right.

Cool on the kids being happy in school. I think school uniforms are the way to go, remove that element of school pressure. Make sit easier on the parents to I would think. My daughter gets to wear whatever she wants, and that is expensive with all the new clothes,,,,,, of course we home school her so.....

just pulled a mean burn out with my Dodge Charger R/T Daytona out of a Mcdonalds parking lot. Left some pretty sick rubber for about 55 feet or so. I had to counter steer heavely to keep it str8.. Ok more to come later when I disable the ESP completely.

Got a reloader last week. Had my first squib yesterday. Thought I was monitoring those loads closely too.

To me home schooling is depriving the child of what it means to be a child (to an extent) no prom, no graduation.. that sucks

Home schooling is an ok idea. Some home school associations (= group of home schooling families) do it right, and keep up to their State's requirements for child education.... Home schooling your kids is no easy task, nor is it something to be taken lightly.

BUT whoever it is that stays home and acts like "teacher" had better be able to live up to the task. I know of a few parents who couldn't do it properly. Also, they need to be sure the kids are getting the proper amount of socialization skills w/ other kids. You can't keep them locked inside all their life and expect them to have "people" and coping skills for when they're out on their own. They won't be able to handle the "real world" alone.

I am pretty sure I did it yesterday. THe doc told me I have a bunch of very small ones like sand. The biggest one at 3mm got stuck and that is what laid me out. That stupid strainer is a pain to use. They have not analyzed the stones yet but I am pretty sure of the cause. I had Bronchitis about 2 weeks ago. I think that moose I had a fight with gave it to me. The antibiotics caused a lot of mineral build up and the Entex(otc mucinex) caused dehydration. Result - Stones.
