Alrighty then!!! I'm ready to boost my post count. Went over my bosses head and went to corporate. Looks like I'm going to get full benefits from my company. Boss might even have to pull 250.00 out of his own pocket to pay me for sign up bonus I should have collected instead of him.

As far as kidney stones, I feel for you dude. I had my first stones at 27 years of age, woke up about 2am with this pain. Recently married, the wife still thought I was a man so I didn't wake her till about 5am when I hurt so bad I put my fist thru the wall (still have trouble with those fingers bending). Went to Toledo Hospital, where I was born, man what a crap hole. I sat in the waiting room till 6 am, then after listening to my wife they threw me in a wheel chair for an hour right outside of the waiting room. By now the pain was manageable. I wasn't seeing stars. Then they needed a blood sample, so they sent nurse dumbshix to do it, she couldn't hit a vein if she had too, and when she did, she had so conditioned herself to missing that she stuck it in, then yanked it out, I squirted blood all over her, and she was mad at me! Then they sent me up for an xray, had me drink some crap and stuck another needle in me to give me some nuclear glow in the dark/xray capabilities. Took the xrays, then found out they had something mis adjusted on the camera. So they had to take them again, Then they found out they didn't give me enough glow in the dark stuff, so they shot some more in me then took the xrays again. Then they wanted me to pee the stuff out, then and there, three nurses standing there watching while I am laying on my side, one of them is staring at my shnozzle waiting for the pee to start while she held the jug. Yea, riggghhhhht, that gonna happen with that big of an audience. I told em to let me use the bathroom or prepare to sit there all day.

After all that, they told me to ride out the pain..... I hate that hospital.
I used to get them about every 3-4 months.

Biggest one was shaped like a medieval mace, if you don't know what that is, look it up, then picture that coming out of your shlort. Oh, it was like 7 mm big. It hurt big time.

I still get them, but not as often, I had a lot of tests done, I have some gland that is mucked up and produces too much something. I don't pay attention at the doctors office anymore. My wife does the talking, I just look like a dummy with somebody's hand up my axx making the lips move.

To reduce them, I cut BACK on the amount of soda pop ( I now drink Diet rite which has no sodium), salt and fried foods. I still get them, but when I feel them now, I won't pee for as long as I can take it. This swells up the bladder, and enlarges the, what is it, urethra? I don't know. It makes the discharge pipe bigger, which makes it easier for the stone to come tumbling out. Just don't wait for too long or your gonna blow your bladder valve, makes you dribble from the pipe down there. Don't ask me how I know.

I used to have to run all my pee thru a coffee filter over the toilet to catch the stones. Sounds like fun huh? Everywhere I went, I had a plastic bag with a funnel and a supply of paper coffee filters, everywhere, all the time. Pissin in a funnel lined with a coffee filter, lots o fun. You see, the trick is to bend at the knees so that the funnel is sorta close to the toilet, or it splatters all over, the toilet seat, the floor, your pants, your shoes. Don't ask how I know.

I used to get sympathy from my wife for having a stone passing thru, now she just says, if I tell her I have one, "get to work, stones don't pay the bills...". Man I love her

One stone isn't bad, if you start getting more, seriously consider changing your diet.
