Yeah, when i was in school there was alot of girls that chewed. It was alright for every boy/girl to walk the halls with a chew in their mouth and can openly exposed in back pocket but if you got caught with cigs....you was in trouble.

I am a former smoker and dipper. If it was tobacco I did it...Smoke, Dip, Cigars, Pipe. I was (still am) a tobacco whore and given the chance I would go back in a minute. The wife and I used Chantix to quit. I used to dip at work because I couldn't smoke and drive a gasoline tanker at the same time. So it was Kodiak at work and Marb Reds 100's at home. The wife hated to see me dip and compared it to like walking near a goose on Ex lax. She and I used to smoke 2.5 packs a day on our days off. I would use a can of dip a day at work and smoke a pack of Marbs after work each day. We watched her mom nearly die in the hospital from COPD and that did it for us. We started Chantix the next day and we were off all tobacco products in 10 days. AS of this writing we are clean for 13 months. To this day I still smell smoke from a ciggy or cigar...and want one...pretty bad. I totally believe that smokes is just like booze. Once an alky always one...and the same goes for being a smoker/dipper. That stuff is evil foul Sh!t and will run your life if you let it. NOW...all that wonderful happy crap said. I want every one on this list to understand that Chantix is a double edge blade. It works..no kidding. But..understand that it dicks with your brain chemistry and puts many folks in a bad way...me included. I quit the tobacco and then the Chantix when it started taking me by the head into a pit of depression. I was hating life, my family, my lovely wife and seriously thinking about eating a pistol for a while and ended up on anti depressants because of the Chantix. I locked up all the firearms and told my wife to hide the keys. It took most of the last 6 months to get my ducks in a row and paddling. I am not saying that Chantix is bad for everyone ..but it can be for some. I am not the only person it has backfired on. My wife really had no issues for the most part. We both suffer from quite an issue with short term memory loss since Chantix. We both have some problem with aching joints since Chantix. All that being said I am glad we quit. I still want to smoke today ...She on the other hand has no cravings. If you are using the Chantix please let others know to watch you for short explosive temper followed by deep anger, isolation, crying and feelings of self hate. Stay in touch with your doc while you are doing this. You may find yourself quite a different person for a bit. All the disclaimers apply....YMMV...IMHO...Your results may differ...etc.

Just a heads up.... I said my piece. I had to add my part 'cause the docs and pharmacy sometimes doesn't fill in all the good, bad and ugly of new drugs. Nobody told me it could do the stuff it did. Message me if you want any info / encouragement along the way.
