Try drinking alot of coffee throughout the day. Not the best idea, but the easiest way to quit one addiction is to go to another. There are other addictions to choose from but I figure Coffee is the safest... that stupid gum idea is lame I think people who haven't been hook on nicotine before came up with that idea. If you try the coffee thing make sure you get enough water too, all that caffine will give you a headache.

Order Nontobacco Beaver Chew Online! Quit Smoking and Quit Chewing Tobacco

I dug up the link for the mint stuff I used. I bought it online because the stores around here don't carry it. The only downside I found was that it doesn't stay in a wad as well as long cut, so it can end up between your teeth, etc.

I've never used tobacco at all, but I've watched many people try to stop. A friend told me it was harder for her to quit smoking than it was to stop doing heroine. I guess that's not really motivational, but it helps those of us who don't use to understand what you're going through.

$2.50 a can plus $5.00 shipping...That's enough to make you give up Beaver Chew!

You can do it.................

At $5 a pack/can, I don't know how you guys can afford to smoke, dip, and chew.
But I guess I spend more than that on beer for a weekend..
Then again, at $5 a gallon, how can we afford milk too?
Talk about pissing your money away.......

I think Copenhagen is probably the best thing on the planet. That being said, I've been "clean" for a few years, however, I still have to fight a craving from time to time.

Qutting is definately something you have to want to do.

My habit was smoking. I always said that I would quit when the paid me or I had my first heart attack. August 2005 I felt stress in my chest and went to get checked out. The hospital admitted me because they were afraid I would have an attack any minute. Had a stint put in one artery and was good as new.

I decided that was close enough to the heart attack and I quit cold turkey. I did it for me.

My point is that if you want to quit you will. Nobody can make you quit and nobody can tell you enough stories to scare you into quitting. I got a warning that something bad was going to happen to me and quit. I don't think you will have the same options of a warning if you are developing a lip cancer from dipping.

I used to play baseball and many of us dipped. In college, I would dip Copenhagen and drink tons of coffee. It seems I didn't want to fall asleep with a big wad of tobacco in my mouth

But in the end, I just stopped abruptly. I knew someone that got cancer and I just said...'no way, not for me.' Just look at it this way...can anything positive come from chewing tobacco? And what possible negative affects can result from chewing tobacco? Be bold and search the internet for mouth cancer...no benefits at all, but you unnecessarily put yourself at risk with such pleasant results as these...

Now, are you wuss? Or are you going to follow what your mind obviously tells you is the right decision?

Not trying to be an a-hole. Just hate to see folks make mistakes that are easily preventable.
