As I mentioned in another thread on ADs/NDs, I was a victim, almost a fatal victim of one by another deputy. The bullet missed my head and foot by about 12". He didn't know his hammer cocked when he put it back in his holster with the safety off (Beretta 92f).
This LVPD officer was damn lucky as was the db. Hopefully she got remedial training at the least. |

I heard from a good source that she had to go thru 40 additional hours of training for the little "accident".

Very interesting.I watched the video a few times and would like some LEO feedback.Since the perp was on ground and under the control of the cuffing officer,shouldn't her finger have been on side of trigger guard? In this situation I think that she would have had the time to go from "trigger finger safe" to on trigger if needed.Again, I am not in the profession but have some tactical training.Would love to hear from some LEO's on this issue concerning THIS particular video..........Herman.
