Does anybody know of any good places to camp AND shoot in the general area of Ohio, Indiana and Kentucky...though Va and WVa are doable as well.

I really want to go out, hike for a while, shoot for a while, set camp, shoot the breeze, stare at the fire etc, wake up shoot some more, maybe or maybe not hike anymore except back to the car... Just someplace to spend the weekend shooting/camping.

camping

Hey davo. There's nothin spectacular here....but the county park here is right down the road a ways from the shootin range. I've got pics of the range on here.....http://www.hs2000talk.com/viewtopic....r=asc&start=30
Scroll down for the pics...
The range is free to use. The fish and wildlife area don't offer camping, but you can hike the various fire roads until ya get sick.
The county park however does have camping. Both electric, and the primitive...if ya wanna pitch a tent. They've got a huge area with playground equipment if ya have kids bro. There's all kinds of trails through there too, but not sure if ya can camp on em. I take my kids there all the time, and let my boy run till he cant run anymore.....he sleeps like a baby.

The Clark State Forest offers camping...and has a shooting range on site also....it's much bigger than around here

Hope this helps!
