Let's see, where to start. First, the there was the time while she was parking our car in the parking lot at her work next to the building that had been in the same place for over 10yrs. The building suddenly lifted off its foundation and struck the side of the car. No sight of Superman was visible.

Most recent was last year when she backed our fairly new 2006 Honda Pilot out of our new garage and hit our brand new 2006 Tundra Limited Double Cab parked in the driveway where it had been since the night before when she parked the car in the garage. That caused damage to both cars; which remain to remind her of it when she makes any remarks about my driving.

I was at work on a hot summer day and the wife stopped by in her Honda. She told me that the noticed some green fluid under the car. I asked if it had been overheating and she replied "no". I was interupted for a few minutes so she waited in the car with engine idling and the a/c on. When I went back to check the car, I looked under the hood for a leak and find none - so I and asked again if it had overheated, her reply was "NO" again but a little louder this time. I decided to peek in the window and check the gauges and found the temp gauge was pegged on hot. I got a little loud myself and told her the car was overheating and the gauge was pegged. She told me her car didn't have a gauge - it has a light and it never came on. I showed her the gauge - she laughed and said she never knew it was there. I let her know that every car we ever owned had a temp gauge and not a light but she didn't really believe me. I ended up spending the weekend busting knuckles to put new head on it - no laughing matter for me but she thought it was pretty funny.

Yeah, not fun. At least you could handle it your self and save some $$.

Wife backs new Toyota Sequoia out of garage and sideswipes new Ford 500. The funny thing was since both cars are insured, by Allstate, and both where involved in the accident, I didn't have to pay the deductible?!? She's still cute though.

Now that is strange! At least part of it was OK. That must have been a gut wrenching feeling.

Yeah - I worked for a Honda dealer at the time. Still a real pain to do.

Our first Honda was a 86 Accord with an electric antenna in the roof. It had to be down to back out of the garage - well she tried to make it out with it up anyway and snapped it off. Then the antenna was close to $100.00 - and a real pain to put in. Being the great guy that I am I replaced it that night. Next day, she did it again. This is an electric antenna and all you had to do was push a button to put it down. I wasn't a happy guy. Again, she thought it was pretty funny.

Wife was going to take me to work one morning so she could use the car. Sher said she would back it out of the garage while I got my lunch ready. Then, she comes back in & says the car is stuck. In the garage! so I go out & find the car at about a 30 degree angle to the door, INSIDE the garage!! Took a lot of steering wheel cranking & jogging the car back & forth to get it straight & out of the garage. I also learned that she discovered she hadn't backed out straight when she hit the side of the garage door opening. Somehow, there was no damage to the car, but the garage wall right at the door opening was pushed out 8". No danger of it happening again - I turned te garage into a workshop & the car stays outside.
