Why oh why can a woman not.........

Why oh why can a woman not tell you about a problem with her car.

I came home from a short night of work to see my wife's car parked down the driveway..... I am thinking what the heck is going on here?

I find no one is home, her purse is on the desk..... I pause and listen....Nothing. I call down to her sisters house as she lives a few miles away. My wife answers. Oh honey some thing is wrong with the car. I FORGOT to tell you I thought it was smoking the other day...... So I drove to my sisters and the heater stopped working..... So I drove home.... Oh crap........

So I have not even looked at it yet. I am afraid the head might have warped. I am sure all the coolant was gone. If so that motor is done. I'll be looking for a used motor to throw in it. I thought I was going to order my AR kit.........

Wish me luck, oh and it's a 97 accord. So........

Sorry to hear that, bro. I got the wonderful "Honey, I just rear-ended somebody" call today. It was more like a tap as these things go, but now I get to wait for an estimate for fixing cosmetic damage to some guy's bumper. I feel for you, man.

Let see, that has happened twice to me..... To top it off she was talking to me on the phone and rear ended THREE people as I listened..... I was 500+ miles away at the time. So I know your pain all to well.

Yes I do love my wife. It is a good thing I do.....

I just think she needs to ride a bicycle.....

And when that gets wrecked, it's a lot cheaper to replace.

Affirmative. The hoozydoodle catastrophically and with prejudice detached itself from the chief widget-in-charge, and now there's hell to pay.

I feel for you. If was just a month or two ago that I got the call... "honey I just rear ended someone"....

And just last week "honey there's this noise when I turn the wheel"

And now "honey the breaks are making a funny sound"

It never ends.....

How about, "Honey, I just backed into the basketball pole (which just happens to be 5 feet from the EDGE OF THE DAMN DRIVEWAY!!!). Do you think anything is wrong with my new SUV?"

I look -

Busted tail light assembly ($280),

Busted bumper cover ($725),

Dented rear quarter panel ($800 to remove dent, paint, etc).

Total bill is over $2,000 - and we have a $250 deductible.

Me - "Honey - you better write the check from YOUR ACCOUNT, 'cause I'm not about to!"

Her - "Well, it's really YOUR FAULT! Why did you put the pole so close to the driveway (it's been there for 20 YEARS - ever since my 32 year old son was 12, for CHRIST'S SAKE!)?"

Can you win with them? No way - just roll your eyes and try to make the best of it......and it sure don't get any better as they get older......
