Buying a buckmark camper

So Im probably going to buy a buckmark camper. The one I saw at Gander is $280 with the nickel plating. Over at rimfirecentral there are some who warn that the nickel will flake off after regular use. that worries me a bit. I heard similar about the XD finish but as of yet, I've had no problems. Is having a nickel plated finish not worth it, because There is also a BM camper in the case that is blued. Im more concerned about durability here and less with how it looks. Comments?

The BM Camper I had was finished in a black matte (?) I think. It was just a dull black finish. I'd wipe it down with a little bit of oil occasionally and had no problems with the finish, ever.

The Buckmarks are great guns. I have a 5.5 Target that is awesome. You will like it.

Only one big problem with Camper.

It totally sucks to take it down and clean it.
Complete nightmare to disassemble/reasseble. These guns are wonderful shooters. Mine shot about 1.5" at 25m, and it feels great to shoot. After the first time getting it apart and cleaning it, though, I never wanted to shoot it again.
I bought a Taurus model 94 5" revolver (9 shot) and it is just as accurate, and INFINITELY easier to clean.
R,
Steve.

Two screws and a spring. Where's the problem?
