For all you buckmark owners, tactical solutions now makes barrels for it along the same lines as their pac-lite receivers for the ruger mark II/III.

Lightweight, and they look interesting too.

Complete nightmare to disassemble/reasseble. These guns are wonderful shooters. Mine shot about 1.5" at 25m, and it feels great to shoot. After the first time getting it apart and cleaning it, though, I never wanted to shoot it again.
I bought a Taurus model 94 5" revolver (9 shot) and it is just as accurate, and INFINITELY easier to clean.
R,
Steve.
Two screws and a spring. Where's the problem?
Yeah...I actually think it's very easy to take apart. Try taking apart a P22 or a MkII/III...that's annoying...

Still can't compare to the annoyance of dodging the spent casings heading straight for your face

Love my Buckmark! The only reason I don’t break it down completely is a red-dot sight that would need realigning. Still shoots great. I will recommend something like locktight on the top screws.

Somebody have a P-22 that works!!!
Mine is on it’s way back for repairs, again.

Our P22 functions "perfectly" -- that is to say, it cycles the action every time. And while I don't have the case/head issue that I see a lot of, it does have one very interesting feature. I like to call it "hot case hand skin searing". The tenth round invariably will eject, and just basically fall out the right side of it and right on to your hand. I had one casing sear itself to my finger and I had to pull it off with my other hand and now I've got a scar there.

Still...it's a really fun gun. Just gotta pay lots of attention to what I'm doing.

I went back to Gander, and saw an even nicer buckmark for only $50 more. Bought that one, went straight to the range and put about 300 rounds through it. I love this gun.
