shoot to much?

has any one ever heard of putting to many rounds through any gun in a short amount of time and actually hurting the gun in some way or affect its grouping or even accuracy?

In the old days with some high powered rifle cartridges you could shoot out a barrel in a small number of hand loaded hot rounds. With a pistol it's not very likely.

But if one were to put say 1000 rounds through a pistol in 10 minutes or so there is going to be heat damage to the barrel.

I got more accurate after 10,000 rounds through my XD9 service.

These are not Keltecs.
