Bingo! I have self defense dreams all the time, and my gun either turns into rubber or it jams or some other deal. I hate those dreams.

For those of you (which seems to be most) that have the gun won't fire or bullets do nothing to target dream. Its not a dream! Thats the aliens power of keeping anything from working while they are taking you. Just be glad thats the only part of the abduction that you remember. That probe really hurts!!!!!!!!!

i had one where a cop was chasing a car and got into a reck with the fleeing car. I ran over to the cops car to pull him out, the cop was knocked out and the guy wanted to get away.. so got out of his wrecked car and started shooting ( odd thing was i was shooting a 1911 ).. so i shot back and after the BG fell to the ground i pulled the cop to a safe distance from the car...

Me too. The last on I had, I took the mag out and was flicking the rounds off at the BG with my fingers.

All the time. My gun always has a 30lb trigger, and I can rarely fire it. I can never pull the trigger. I h8 those dreams. Perhaps my inner fears manifesting themselves in the dreams?

hmmm, whenever I have shooting dreams I am always an awesome shot and take out multiple attackers with head shots like I'm Bruce Willis or something.

Hmm I once had a dream that was a zombie one, well I guess they were zombies. I was at a mall and got mad at these ignorant acting people that were all over the place and I started shooting at them, but there was no effect at all, and they just kept coming and walking past me. I think some of them fell over though, but this dream was from many years ago, can't recall. But they were certainly totally mindless, thank goodness they were not those evil zombies that want to eat you!

I also had a dream maybe last year where I was shot in the back by some paramilitary type with an AR, and died, but came back to life and some rebel group had me as their poster child hero or something.

In another dream I had many years ago there was this gangbanger holding some place up who started shooting people, and I walked right to him and he was shooting at me with no effect. I grabbed his gun and shot him.
