No i didnt have to qualify with anything. Being Security Forces we have m4 carbine, m9 pmm beretta, and machine gun training every 6 months. All i had to do was mail in a copy of my military ID for proof of weapons training.

Congrats...stay alert and use it wisely. The four required items to any ccw...your weapon, an extra clip, your cell phone, and a tactical flashlight I recommend surefire.

I would add a good pocket knife as backup. I love my Benchmade!
