Florida CCW Applicants - Get your prints done

Go with a money order from the post office. That is guaranteed money. A check they will hold for it to clear.

I can verify that, you cannot get electronic fingerprints done, unless of course you make a trip to FL.

So you guys are saying they ABSOLUTLY will not take electronic prints? I had them done here at my local PD for both my Fl and Ut permits. They're printed on the same cards you get in the application, and will be sent with the Sgt.'s(my friend that did the prints for me) card for verifaction if needed. Or should I just aks him to do ink cards too?

As far as I know, the card FL includes in that packet is for ink prints. I could be wrong. I'm getting my prints done when I pick up my permits.

the florida ccw packet includes a print card, though it recommends the elctronic print for a faster return..........i think only florida resd cant get the electronic fingerprints due to having to pay fdle $35.00 to process prints electronically.......

When you get your prints done electronically, they give you a code to enter on a website where you pay for your prints. You then get a receipt from the state you have to include with your application so they can verify your prints were done and paid for before they fwd them to the FBI or whoever.
