They don't happen less. If you look at Ozzy crime stats most of them are considerably higher than those in the us. The only thing that is down is "gun deaths". Assault and rape are 3X that of the US. Nearly all violent crimes went up considerably when their gun ban went into effect.

And some guns can be owned down there, but there are SERIOUS restrictions and licenses that have to be obtained.

How can that be? Getting rid of guns was supposed to get rid of crime!

If people are smart over there, they should use this like crazy as an example to PROVE that the gun ban isn't worth *$#!, and get their gun rights reinstated ASAFP.

We are not like the US we don't have the right to arms like you guy's have in your constitution.
We run of the British style of parliment and we know what happened over there the only thing we can do is try and lobby friendly polititians and all they do is say what you want to hear so they can get re-elected.
Our gun lobby is no where as powerful as the NRA but as I said we are still trying.
Trust me statistics work both way's the don't prove anything unless they point your way.
