(PV) Question?

What is Ron Paul going to do with all your money when he drops out of the race? Yes this is a serious question.

Bank it for 2012? Just a guess. Not sure what happens with it.

With the standards that I believe Ron Paul to have, I believe he would spend every bit of it campaigning or at least trying to initiate a change for the better of this country. He does not come across to me as the type who would take these millions that he now has and squander it on personal items, or anything other than what the donations were meant for.

I'm not questioning the man's integrity. I honestly am just curious what happens to the money. When you say spend it campaigning for change, what happens when the campaign is over?

The candidates can keep all campaign funds left-over at the end of the campaign.

He can hang onto it and use it for a future campaign, donate it to others, start a third party - whatever he wants.

I am assuming that he will not drop out, and may run as an independent.

Do you feel Fred Thompson took some of your money home, or are you being genuine?

This question could apply to any candidate, so google it. I believe they are allowed to pocket what they do not spend. However, with respect to RP, I am not worried.

He is in this to win

Am I being genuine? Come on now you know me better than that. Of course I am. I was truly curious about the money regarding any candidate. The only reason I used RP is because of all the money he has made during the campaign. Once he drops out like FT did I was wondering what he will do with it all, thats all.

That's if he drops out. As Etta said, he may run as an Independent. He would certainly have better chances than Nader ever did. RP has committed to running for President and I believe he'll do that until every last vote is tallied.

Well if he ran as an independent it would hurt the chances of the Republican candidate. Also, Ralph Nadar is still considering a run as an independent. That would be good for the Republican candidate.
