For pi$$ing off the main guy at GlockTalk and earning myself an "infraction"? I am also barred from a select few of the forums on that site.

You know, I will not get into what I said that got him so riled up, but considering some of the things that I have seen people post on that forum, it really makes me wonder why he found my post to be so offensive? I was going to write a choice reply, but it will not get me anywhere. I will take my lumps and be a good boy over there. If I get banned, I guess I gotta bust out Torpark and create a new account. LOL

I never really try to offend anyone. Occasionally I get passionate about a topic, especially government, and I say a thing or two that offends. But, hey, for the most part I keep the peace. There isn't one person around here that doesn't eventually make an enemy, if not for a short time.

Just reinforces why I like XDTalk. They run a tight ship, here, but they try not impose Orwellian censorship.

I'm not sure what all words were exchanged but I wonder about those glock guys some times. I've yet to meet an XD owner equally so rabid an adamant about thier gun. Sure we're a proud bunch but I also get the overall feeling we're more fun loving and relaxed than alot of them.

It had nothing to do with a gun at all. It was not directed at a specific person. It was directed at my local SWAT Team. I called them a bunch of "douchebags" that should not be compared to a Navy S.E.A.L. team.

Someone was comparing local SWAT to the Navy S.E.A.L.S.

I had to chortle.

I am still cracking up.

No offense, MIKETRT or any other officers. I know nothing about you guys, and am not qualified to make comparisons. I am, however, very experienced with MY locals, and they are not to be compared to an Elite Counter-Insurgency Team.

I honestly think some "Sensitive Sally" narked me out to the Big Guy over there.

The thread got started over the "militarization" of the police. Someone posted an article about cops turning into SEALS. I just took it from there.

There may have been Vodka involved when I wrote my response, too. HAR HAR!!!
