About 6 months ago I am shooting my XD9 at 15 yard targets when all of a sudden there is an orange cloud out at the berm at 50 yds. I secure the firing line and walk out to find a spray paint can that someone left out there, I had hit it dead center.

Yea, a crazy story for sure. But I do wonder if the needy family is related to the game warden?

Is that range cool? Its a bit of a drive from here but occasionally I'll pack up my stuff and drive somewhere out of the way to shoot just to make it more interesting

I like it. There are two ranges, a pistol range with a 50m backstop, and a rifle range with a 100m backstop. Each, I believe, has 10 shooting lanes. Covered, concrete floor. Shooting benches on the rifle side, one 5' square table on each side of the pistol range. Built in full length benches at rear of the range. Drop me an e-mail, I'll get out there again thisa week and take some pics.

We've had several deer suddenly wander out onto the 100 yard range while we were shooting, it does happen. Fortunately the RO called a cease fire and they didn't get hit (everyone was looking down their scopes and didn't see a thing).

I was in a class shooting at 400 yards once and two domestic dogs wandered out right in front of the target right before I shot. Fortunately I stopped and yelled "CEASEFIRE!" very loudly and everyone else stopped too.

It happens.
