Pizza can bring us together
background: We have three dogs, two cats,
Cats: They were strays that adopted us and became indoor only cats. Names: Thome (after Jim Thome) lean, smart and can be mean, full run of house Kirby (after vacuum cleaner) lazy, fat and gentle, full run of house Dogs: Hampton: loves me to a fault, needs attention, easily unhinged. Adopted from a shelter. Black and white in color, locked down at night Casey: Smartest of the bunch, all white, very spoiled. "talks" to us. full run of house Bailey: Quiet until he needs to kill something invading his area, then he is mean. locked down at night. Dogs and cats have a running , uneasy truce going. They don't walk too close to each other or there will be a fight involving most if not all of them. Ones fur is frequently in the mouth of another, and the one with the mouth fur is generally smiling. Ok, here's the story So last night the wife and I had some alone time, tec jr. stayed the night at somebody else's house and Mrs TEC and I watched a movie and ate a pizza in the family room. Very relaxing time, movie was pretty good, Ocean's 13. After the movie, it was time for bed. Well I left the pizza box with one slice on the kitchen counter. With the box closed. Next to the pumpkin pie. I came down this morning to find the pizza box on the floor, still closed...... I thought, OK, I can still eat it for breakfast. However the box was empty. Kirby is too lazy to jump on the counter, and I don't know if he could, he is fat. So, that left Thome and Casey. They both love human food, including pizza. But, Thome could not eat a whole piece himself, and Casey could not get on the counter to get it down. That leaves the following, the cat brings it down, the dog opens the box and they split the pizza. This is un heard of in this house. But obviously it happened. If pizza can bring our cat and dog together, maybe the Dem's and the Repub's need to split a pizza to get things done for the benefit of all. Thats just my thought. I know, it's a stretch.

Funny post tec. Alright cat I can't get the pizza off the counter and you can't open the box. Truce? Alright dog but when this is over nothing changes.
