I understand that this says "State", but I don't see how people who live their can not be called citizens of this country and therefore not be afforded the same rights as those who actually live in states. That just seems absurd. I am not arguing with you, but it seems stupid.

I understand what you're saying, but there are regulations and laws that apply to what states can and cannot do with their own laws. DC does not apply to these because it's system of representation is different.

if any place in the USA should be unrestricted it is DC.

i would also like to point out that i feel the constitution as stated is the LAW OF THE LAND>

as such - it immediately applies to the states, in my opinion. just as alover of freedom i think all rights should automatically be "given" to the people, without regard to the Federal / state question.

It's things like this that just sets me on fire and burns me up.

I'm sorry, but to me, Bush has been our own worst enemy. From monitoring our phone calls, to tracking people, and now to considering LAW ABIDING LEGAL GUN OWNERS a "THREAT".

WTF?!?! I simply can not wait until he leaves the White House. It's too bad we can't boot him out NOW, along with all the other control freak socialist paranoid wanna-be's. Grrrrrr....................

I admit, I did not vote for Bush in 2000. Nope. But I had faith in him after Sept 11th. But that faith has been returning nothing but let-down for me. Frankly, I'm simply tired of hearing his name on the Television/radio, and reading it in the paper/online.
