I just put in an order for 2 RRA complete lowers. I wanted the security of having the actual "gun" without having to pay for the whole thing right now. I don't anticipate needing two more, but I figure they'll appreciate if something bad happens.

No he didn't!
What he said was that he isn't in favor of national reciprocity.

It may be, but I don't have a problem with it. It should be up to the states that have CCW to set reciprocity with other states.
A state that does not have CCW should not be forced to capitulate by federal mandate.

Very good point's. They'll appreciate as the dollar declines, or the demand goes up. Smart move!!!

I just don't have the funds for those right now.

All I can say is:

If Hillary get's in, she, Boxer, Feinstein, and Pelosi will push for a ban.
If Obama get's in, he may push for it.
If Edwards get's in, I doubt he will even think of it.
If Rudy get's in, he will push for it.
If McCain get's in, he will not bother with it.
If Huckabee get's in, he will defend the 2A.
If Romney get's in, we really don't know because he changes his friggin' mind so much.

It patly depends on what Congress will do. I hope that in the next election, Congress will be Republican controlled again.

Agreed!!!
At the state level. That is where the power was meant to be. This is not a job for the Fed.
