Here's something I've learned: California is such a diverse place that it's really unfair to judge the whole state on just a few bits of journalism.

Now, I have less respect for Kalifornistan's legislature than I have for the roaches I've crushed, sprayed, and otherwise destroyed in my lifetime. The people who make their laws are just desperate for something to do with their time and it ends up hurting the entire state.

But I know that there are plenty of Californians worth saving from the flames of doom that are inevitably headed their way. I pray for them as they deal with their despot government.

I've got nothing against CA. It's a geographically beautiful place and my wife is from there. It's just that 80% of the nutty laws that you hear about come out of that state. It makes you wonder what the heck is going on? Too much crop spraying? Something in the Pacific sea air? If there are so many righteous folks there, how do they let such digbats run the cities and states?

It's too bad the nuts took over such a nice piece of real-estate.
