Kansas- crazy Christians, towns warring with eachother after cities get nuked ( TV show Jericho), tornados all the time, endless corn fields, and best of all west Kansas has 30 pound raccoons, 75$ badgers, and $150-200 bobcats.

CA gets made fun of because they are this lone island in a sea of shall- issue states. On the east coast MD, DE, NJ, NY, MA, RI are all clustered together in their may-issue stupidness, but at least DE allows open carry, and some NY counties have sympathetic sheriffs.

'Smallville' is set in Kansas. Fictional places though, like Smallville and Metropolis, but it is still set in Kansas. Lot's of "Meteor Freaks" are there according to the series.

When the state government passes extreme anti-gun laws and they are re-elected over and over? It's more than just some fruits 'n nuts in SF!

There goes the NRA at it again. Everyone remember to pay your dues. And if you are not a member just consider how many times they've stood up for your gun rights. I'm sure those layers aren't cheap.

$25 a quarter makes you a life member if you're interested.

First off, the story here is about SF. Secondly, the gun restrictions we currently have are old, legislators have come and gone since they were passed and the laws don't expire here. Third, and more importantly, Ca. is a very big state; legislators don't get elected by their stance on gun control (yeah, it sounds crazy), but rather by their position on bigger issues like energy and the economy and whatnot. The earlier comment was simply meant to call attention to the fact that people seem to be judging the entire state by something that only affects SF, which is basically just a small city in a very big state.
And, don't forget that this one went in our favor. The crazy liberal activist judges, that people who don't even live in Ca. complain about, decided to defend our 2nd amendment right this time.
