not trying to hijack here. but is it legal to carry in a national forest? or is that another name for wildlife refuge? I have a buddy that seems to think its ok, I thought it was federal property and was treated as such.

Monkhouse, since hunting is legal in a National Forest I would imagine it is also legal to carry there.
