Evening everyone.

Recently, a family member who resides in Georgia was given a little .380 (we won't go into what it is . . . let's just say I'm looking for a more *cough* reliable carry pistol for her) for carry, but no instruction/training on carry, laws, or use of the gun. I can handle showing her the ropes gun-wise, but Georgia laws aren't my forte.

Can someone point me in the direction of a good resource of information for Georgia carry laws or state specific gun loads? She was told that if she has it in a certain way (open carry with no chambered round or something like that, I don't recall exactly), she didn't need a permit. I told her not to do so until she got some information from the State Police or State's Attorney before carrying it.

I'd appreciate any information anyone could give me.
