As far as the video is concerned it's just like they say on the Box 'O Truth: shooting stuff is fun!
And a .50 would big better than a .45. I'm not talking defending your home against an invader I'm talking concealed weapon carry.

Yes shooting stuff is fun and I'll have to remember to bring old cell phones and jugs of water when I go to my friends farm.

Agreed, but my argument is that a correctly placed .45 is better than a correctly placed .380. Also, gunfighting is not target practice and a perfect shot is unlikely, so why not hedge your bets and use the bigger round as your primary defensive tool?

Some people cant shoot a .45 like they do a .380 or 9mm. Some people cant carry a .45 like they can a 9mm and .380. And these people often get critized for not carrying a big enough caliber. I'm saying you dont always need a big caliber.

In one of my previous posts, I stated "shoot the biggest gun you can shoot accurately" or something to that point. I would argue that folks who carry guns trade small and convienient for effective. Jeff Cooper once said that "guns are not supposed to be comfortable, they are supposed to be comforting." I tend to agree with that statement.

If, for whatever reason, you cannot possibly shoot anything bigger than a .25, then carry the .25. My wife is a prime example, she has rheumatoid arthritis and can no longer shoot anything larger than a .32; so she carries .32. But if you are more accurate with a .380 than a .45 because you don't practice with the .45, get off your butt and practice.

Thats all I was saying. For some a .45 is not an option and yet people always say ".32? Should get a .40 atleast." or ".380? 9mm is the least I would go." Well good for you. Some refuse to carry anything less than a .45 or a .40 but I'm satisfied with 10-12 rounds of 9mm 124grn TAP on tap.

I agree with the comfort and the need to practice. You need to practice no matter what caliber you shoot but people's budget also comes into play. Not everyone can afford a .45 or the ammo required to become proficient.

what kind of ammo was used? (both guns)...

i've got gold dots in my .380 and i'm interested to see how they perform vs fmj's...

Note to self:
When big dog attacks and I only have my Kel-Tec, grit teeth, accept bite, put gun to dogs head, pull trigger until it lets go. 2 dogs ? Run like hell!

My wife and I were talking about Pitbulls. I told her its no use running from them, you're only going to get bit while you're tired.
