Our governor is endorsing Obama. I thought she was a little too moderate to do this.

It isn't as bad as Cochise County, but it is the only other blue county in the state. It will be this way, most likely, in the next election. Environmentalists have way too much say down here.

I hadn't heard that about Napoleontano, but I'm not terribly surprised. I think her persona as a "moderate" is basically just a media mask on someone who's a pretty leftist individual.

And yes....I lived in Tucson for over 25 years. It's pretty (for a desert city), and has some nice things to do, but the political climate stinks.
