Grip send's his money to japan...

this thread was started because i wanted to share my project with the forum i visit so often.

100% of the work was done by me alone.

2001 Subaru Impreza Coupe: (36,*** miles)

engine bay before: (2.5 liter, 4 cyl)

engine bay after: (JDM STi type-RA 2.0 turbo)

interior before: (removed oem sound deadening material)

interior after:

me redoing the wiring, vacumn, and fuel lines for a cleaner look:

intercooler view: (dad in backround, some may have seen some of the car's he has built in mopar magazine's)

every single nut, bolt, hose and wire has been either replaced, or re-done with new parts to make everything the way it should be from the factory in my eye's.

this car will mostlly be used for street and i would love to run the "street class, time attack challenge" , 2008 season...but its nothing 100%.

i will update this thread with progress as it happens.

love it or hate it.

Awesome car. The first thing I thought when I saw that you did all the work yourself was, "Well, it's not like he could have been shooting or anything."

That's a slam on IL, since that probably wasn't clear. Thank God I evacuated that hellhole.

My only complaint would be about the placement of the ammo box. I would have turned it around 180. Was it placed that way to clear the trunk lid? Other than that, beautiful build, keep us informed.
