Surefire G2 Help Needed...
Anybody know how to remove the tailswitch on a Surefire G2 (as in, remove the push button from the tail cap)? I want to replace my push button with a tape switch.

They sell a replaceable grip/tape switch cap that goes on there. I think they're around 25 or so dollars. I've got the G2 Nitrolon also best damn flashlight for the ammount of money I spent.

The pushbutton will just pop out of the tailcap if you take it off then push in on the rubber pushbutton. Mos tailcap switches replace the entire tailcap though. Tacstar makes one. Just remove the tailcap and replace with the tapeswitch assembly.

Ask Surefire, they should have one.... or at least that's they kind I had in Iraq
