In our town if a 911 call comes from a residence....we will check it out even if we have to jump a locked fence. We'll have 911 try & call the number back first to get somone to the gate, if possible, or contact a neighbor to see if they have any cell phone numbers belonging to the homeowner in question.

If nothing works, then we will jump the gate and go to the house.....this is the perfect example of why we do it & why the job is dangerous....There's no feeling in the world like jumping a locked gate on private property & while your walking up to the house, wondering if the homeowner is going to come out shooting!

Here's the filing. It's not pretty:

Basically, they were in the middle of killing the family during the 911 call. After they finished killing the kids, the girl ran down and locked the gate to discourage anyone from coming up. The question that remains is were any of the family members still alive while the deputies were outside.

This makes you sick even having to read this, especially the part about shooting the young mother & her kids. There is a special place for these two people & I hope they get there fast.....

I have had situations where I had to read Title IV-E files and reading that document pretty much turned my stomach. These people have something wrong with them and need to be put down.

Sound like either real nutsos or they are meth addicts or something- or both. What a stupid reason to kill 2 kids and 4 adults. Esp the 2 kids, like what did they do?

Usually rural families have guns all over the house, wonder why no one tried to fight back-or did they? Need more info. Or were these CA city transplants who think guns are always evil?

My parents did real estate appraisals for years and they had to go into the houses to inspect them. One such house was not far from where we live now, and the owners had problems before with tresspassing white trash scum who would fish off their pond and have beer parties. Police can take forever to get here. My mother told me that this family had guns all over the house. These were not "rednecks", just ordinary middle to upper class income rural people. Lots of old "horse" families still out this way, as well as families who farm or live on land their grandparents or further back ancestors purchased. One lady lives on family land, about 150 acres, and the house was built about 1750, and her family has owned this property since then. She told me she was "born with a gun in 1 hand, and a fishing pole in the other" LOL- but she is not a redneck, and is in fact a vegetarian and somewhat hippyish. People even deer hunt on this land, she is very open minded.

Oh and yes we have plenty of "rednecks" out here, all of whom also have guns all over their houses. One older guy has an NRA lisc plate even.

Just read the new CNN piece on it. Gut wrenching. There is NO punishment that our justice system could give that would come even close to being an appropriate punishment for these two sick f*cks.
