lost mom to cancer...

i know i haven't been around much lately....she was diagnosed around christmas of 2004...but wanted to let all know that i got some real help from some of you back when this all started...she wasn't young...76...but it is tough...thanks all...will have to watch out for dad now.
make sure you tell your folks you love them whenever possible....that goes for your spouse and kids too...

Sorry about your Mom losing her battle with cancer. That is a tough enemy.

One thing I have found is too continue to talk about the person who died. Honor them by talking about them. Often, when somebody dies, people don't want to talk about them, for fear of "bring up bad memorys". Personally, I feel that talking about the person and their life is much easier and rewarding then trying to not talk about them.

Again, Sorry, she must of been a great Lady.
