To you. I think he sees that Huckabee is getting serious about immigration. Huckabee has changed some of his stances on immigration, and what he is campaigning on is very acceptable to many. I think one thing you can say about Huckabee, if he says what he is going to do, you can take it to heart. Now, I agree with some that he has changed his views. Some want to say "flip flop", ok I got it. However, he did what he said he was going to do back then, and I am sure he will do what he says he is going to do as President.

Sounds great!
Is he going to do what he tells us he's going to do, or is he going to do what he tells some backroom lobbyist he's going to do?

Mike Huckabee lied about begging for a tax increase

*******The Club For Growth links with - Huckabee Makes an Honest Mistake, "When you support higher taxes as often as he did, you're bound to get them confused."
******* Plus - Updated Huckabee White Paper - The Club For Growth.

Here is the Arkansas Journal's response, "In his press release Huckabee points out that I'm anonymous. It's true that I am anonymous, but I'll tell you why. I'm scared to death of how Huckabee has treated friends of mine who crossed him or simply didn't do what he wanted. Huckabee doesn't forgive and forget. He gets mad and gets even.He also claims that my video was taken out of context. It isn't. Read my entire blog. Feel free. He said he wanted to go on the record. Well, I put him on the record. He begged for a tax increase, any tax increase, and he got it. Today he lied about it on national television and tried to brush it aside by simply saying, "oh, yeah, I guess it wasn't about a Supreme Court mandate."He lied for a reason. He knew what he was saying was wrong. He had plenty of time to think about this. My video has been out there for 2 days. He lied because he knew that what I've been saying is true. Mike Huckabee IS a pro-life liberal.I'd like to see how many of his supporters have the guts to do the right thing and leave his campaign. They have been fed a lie and wanted to believe it all. Mike Huckabee puts on a heck of a show. I know. I've been on the ground, in the trenches of Republican politics in Arkansas from the beginning. He's had me mesmerized on more than one occasion. But I've seen him get angry. I've seen him call tax and spending increases conservative. But the reality is that Mike Huckabee is a liar. I have proven that. Club for Growth has proven that, when they demonstrated that he has been lying about not signing the gasoline tax into law in 1999. He said 80% of us in Arkansas voted for it. We didn't. He had already signed it into law. Here's the link to that. His evangelicals supporters aren't going to support a known liar. I don't think the average American will put up with it either. Here's the link to his press release. I noticed that he didn't post it on his blog. I guess he doesn't want to tell his supporters. Here's the link to the video from FoxNews.com.Here's the link to my original video of Huckabee begging for a tax increase. Here's a link to a story from the Arkansas Democrat Gazette from 2003, which chronicles what his speech begging for a tax increase was actually about. It is reprinted by the Arkansas Times blog."

Mike has been enjoying some surge in the polls and this is likely to dampen the party. If people dig deeper they will find out that not only is Mike Huckabee a pro choice liberal, he's a nanny stater and an illegal alien panderer.

My message to out of state conservatives - beware of Mike Huckabee !

AZ, come on now. You are going to have to do better than some disgruntled person's accusations. We can pull all this stuff on every candidate. I personally don't have the time to find garbage on the candidates I don't like. And yes, I can find the same garbage about Paul....

JGB,
I agree.
Opinion can be found on every candidate. It's the Huckaflop syndrome that concerns me the most.

But really, when I first read this, I could swear you had wrote "Huckabee has changed some of his stances on Huckabee"

We could dig up all the racial accusations on Paul and how he panders to the David Duke crowd and all of that garbage. Do I believe it? No probably not. But just throwing it out there is what people do to cause voters to say whoah, maybe I don't like this guy. I think Huckabee is the candidate that I agree withthe most on issues. I'll just say that....

You do know that you're a hypocrite, jgb. You accuse Paulites of justifying Paul's stances on issues, and you do the same for Huck.
Admit it...You're a fan and believe he's the best man for the job. Many of us have an honest disagreement with you.
