The gov't looks out for us all!!
Chicago officials used the city's emergency phone system to deliver recorded warnings to about 2,700 elderly residents that sidewalks were icy and slippery.
Who would have thought that in an ICE STORM!! Full article here: Weather Sorry, I am bored as I have a few items run by my Honda generator as the power is out. Lots of Ice all over, I hope it is clear soon as I work Monday night. Kent |

I pay $1.75 every month for that service I'll have you know.... ridiculous isn't it....?
And which 2700 elderly residents did they choose to call? Especially when there is approximately one million or so "elderly" in the city proper....? Another glaring example of liberal thinking... and big government taking care of it's taxpayers....
