In a country strapped with extreme poverty, baby abandonment is a common occurance. It's a shame when dogs treat children better than parents.

I don' t care what anybody or any study says, dogs and cats, mine at least, can read my mood and be a comfort to me when I need it. To hear that a dog saved that babys life, I can believe it. Would all dogs do this? No. Would all people do what the dog did? Obviously NO.

It's a sad commentary on human conditions, both mental and physical, when that is how people treat a human life.
