My New Addition

Finally got me a NIB Sig 226 in 9mm w/3 hi-cap mags. Haven't got to take her to the range yet, but hopefully very soon. Just wanted to show her off.

Nice pistol!

I havn't heard a single bad thing about the Sig 226 yet... except the price. What did you pay? If you don't mind me asking.

I've been kinda interested in those myself. A retired sgt i know has one and he loves it. I was curious, what kind of trigger action does that have? I've heard about the DAK system that sig has... How does that function?

SWEET! I will have one someday. I have bought 7 guns in the last year and you must tempt me with that one. That is one fine pistol. Congrats and happy shooting. BTW, if you cant shoot with it, send me a PM and I'll gladly take it iff your hands.

I know about the "girl" thing. My wife said I need to curb my spending. I guess that means no more guns for awhile. She might have to send me to some sort of hospital for this addiction to things that go bang.

It is DA/SA and is the nicest trigger action I have ever owned. It does not have the DAK system. I have heard good things about the DAK, because it is consistent. It takes a little getting used to I also hear.

Captain Ray, I actually traded my Colt Defender for it. I went back with another Sheriff's Department and needed a new duty weapon. Couldn't afford to keep both. This one was NIB (old stock) and they can range from $600-$700, but I also got 3 hi-caps with this one.

Epsylum - Nice 226. I wanted a .40, but hey, that's a good reason to get another one later on, right?
