Does the leather squeak or make noise as you move around?

Larry,

Thanks for your help on the phone this morning. I guess you didn't figure on getting a response within 10 minutes. My 5" holster for my new XD (picking that up today too) is on the way. Range reports will be provided as usual.

Andrew

Breaking in a leather holster takes just a little bit of time. Like breaking in a pair of shoes or baseball gloves. As far as "making noises" ...my 50 year old bones make much more noise than the holster.

Mine never did "squeak" or make any noises. After I found the cant that fit me best, I took out the screw, put some medium strength lock-tite on it, & put it back in. I've never had any problems with it & it's very comfortable, even when I'm driving. Sometimes I can't tell it's there. I wear it between 3:30 & 4:00 & it hides my XD Service great.

The first two days I had it, I wore it around the house & the wife never even knew I had it on.

Ditto. I would like some feedback on how the comp-tac conceals in this holster.

Judging from the pictures it looks like it rides very low on the belt line. How easy is it to draw, reholster? I also have one coming for one of my 1911's I'm just curious on what to expect.

What are you trying to say? The comp-tac is a holster.

After a short break in period (leave your gun in their for awhile) it's comes out with a clean brisk draw.

Sorry. The compact tactical XD, in a Gun-works holster. And what I was curious about was how id does as a concealed carry piece.
