(PV) Would you vote for Joe Biden?

I was chatting with some political friends about the fact that Hillary is too divisive, and will not unite the country. I don't know if there's anyone who would, but I thought of the Democrats running for president, Joe Biden might be an acceptable candidate to Republicans.

As you guys on here are pretty conservative, I wanted to see if I am right.

Would you vote for Joe Biden against Rudy for instance? Would you support any other Dem?

Anyone who seriously gives a rat's behind about the 2A would not vote for Joe Biden or Rudy Giuliani.

I keep forgetting that this is the main issue with you guys. I just saw Biden's response during one of the debates to some guy in Michigan who wanted to know if the Democrats were going to protect his "baby," some huge gun that he showed the camera. Biden thought the guy was nuts if he considered that gun his baby and went on to talk about the assault weapons ban he helped author.

Main issue is an understatement. Here's another one near and dear to our hearts:
Quote:
"There are certain things that I have strongly supported: eliminating cop killer bullets, assault weapons, dealing with the ability to have multiple-rounds in a gun that's semi-automatic -- 20, 25, 17, 18 rounds." Joe Biden

Okay. Are there any Dems that are acceptable on the 2nd Amendment issue and that would be acceptable on other issues as well?

And, do you think there are any candidates running (or who should run) that you think could unite the country. I guess that's if you think the country is too divided right now and that it's a bad thing.

I usually stay open minded, but there is no Democrat I will vote for. For one, they don't support what is important to me, and two, the party is a joke right now and there is no way in hell I'm turning D.C. over to the Dems. I mean seriously, look at the catastrophe of the last 7 years with the Executive and the Legislature locked up. And that was by the "fiscally responsible small government party" Could you imagine the expansion of government if the Dems were in control???

Biden has said a couple of things I agree with, but that is it. I wouldn't vote for the guy over that regardless of who he ran against. I am not a 2A voter for the sake of 2A. However, the insistence of whittling away the Constitution for the "good of all" is something I will vote against and something the Dems just do not get. I'm tired of turning my power over to the government and that is what the Dems are about. No thanks.

Well, do you think the country is just destined to be pretty evenly divided with all of this acrimony toward each side? Do you think it's desirable that this would end? Or, maybe it would take a non-traditional candidate like Ron Paul to unite the middle class.
