Political Rant DISCLAIMER(Late Night Political Train of Thought)

We, the people of the United States of America, entitled to all protections and rights granted unto us by the Constitution of the United States, separated by the boundaries of the several states yet unified in a general distrust of the federal government do hereby enter in a vote of “No Confidence” concerning all actions, ambitions, and principles upheld by the current federal establishment.

When in the last election we eradicated the numbers of the majority party in favor of the minority party in pursuit of a change of course, the will of the people was ignored.

When in the forum of public opinion the approval of the congress reached historic lows, the will of the people was ignored.

When in the course of war with troops on active duty, congress plays with the lives of our service men and women, the will of the people was ignored.

When in the course of legislation, the congress seeks to revoke and rewrite rights guaranteed the people by the Constitution, the will of the people was ignored.

When in the course of security, laws are enacted which restrict the rights of the people, the will of the people was ignored.

The list of grievances can go on forever, but the simple fact is that there is no, and has not been a rule by the people in this country for a number of years. If there is no recourse in elections, the very forum in which our rights are supposed to be exercised, then where and when will the people decide that their rights are worth the responsibility of doing everything in their power to be vigilant and exercise control over a despotic government?

I also hate that it has become/is becoming an aristocratic rule, where we the "common folk", are very hard pressed to get into a position to change things, what with all the uninformed sheeple out there who would rather watch the E! channel and all forms of reality TV over finding out which candidates will F them over the most if they get elected.
