Yeah it was predictions and I thought I did pretty well with them. I am still suprised that people still buy ammo at these shows. I am debating on buying a table at the next show and buying ammo from Walmart and Dicks when it is on sale, setting up and selling for $2 a box profit. I understand everyone has to make a living, but charging $5 more per box that you can get at walmart is price gauging. The guys selling cases of wolf in 7.62 for $250 are out of their mind. No one was buying wolf at that price so why not lower it to a reasonable amount. Hell if I can get it off the net for $180 shipped to my door they have to get it for at least ten percent less than that. And what is with everyone thinking their shi* is worth it's weight in gold when it is just a run of the mill common firearm. I dont know how many times I heard- this is the nicest one I have seen, this wont last long so you better come back soon, you wont find any others like this anytime soon. blah blah blah.

Rant over.

I have found if looking for certain firearms you can get a good deal at my gunshows.
rifles in off calibers
.35 whelen (500 bucks remington 700, pristine condition with a good scope)
Tec-9s (why anyone would want one..)
Hi Points (read above, why?)
For a large assortment of 22LRs..... (oh wait they are priced high, but you can figure out what to buy in the future)
Carry equipment to find out what you want (reminds me of cabellas)
When the .308 mil-surp ammo was around...*tear*
MACE (which is illegal by the way in MI)
All the wrong **** (the USMC snipers are using the 6.8 in Iraq right now you know its a good round, (they are using M14s for autoloaders DSM people, and bolt .308s or up for everything else)
If you need to figure out what knife to get, go figure it out at a gun show.

I still do enjoy going to them though to people watch and for that rare occurance that someone has something priced right. I spend most of my time looking for private sellers walking around with guns for sale.

Man that Wolf at 250 a K is HIGH. I paid 150 a K yesterday for fmj and for HP. The Wolf 9mm was 9 bucks a box of 50.

The ammo dealer I deal with, Outdoor Marksman (OMC), had 1 pallet each of FMJ and 1 of HP plus several loose cases of each. He told me they have been selling Wolf since it 1st came on the market years ago. They have good access to it.

I saw some decent firearm prices too. A S&W 617 10rnd .22lr revolver for 517. About 100 less then my local store.
