CCW for Xmas

I gave my wife my Xmas list. All that was on it was my CCW class and a biometric safe. Thumbs up on both. She rocks. I will be taking the class on Dec. 15 or 30th. I can,t wait. Now I will have to cut down my 9mm service grip for easier carrying. Maybe I will wait and just get a subcompact.

Congrats man! I asked for the CCW class as well and when I do take it I am planning on going the grip chop route as well. I love my 4" barrel!

You remember all over again why you married her I bet.

My wife bought me a new car for Christmas once, 17 years ago.
I'd talked about it SO MUCH, even down to the exact options and color, she couldn't stand it anymore and it was sitting on the front lawn w/ a big bow on it Dec 25th.

In 2000, I did the same thing for her, got a brand new truck delivered to the front door on Christmas eve day, complete with bow.

Six years later she admitted she didn't like the color but didn't want to hurt my feelings.

Now we agree no more BIG surprise gifts.

That is crazy! What car was it?

My wife and I capped our spend at $100 this year - we are saving up for a big trip to spend some time with friends in Scotland.

I just renewed my CHL for the third time and have been carrying since 1995 when my state put the CHL law into effect. I have found that with the right holster and consideration on what you are wearing, you can conceal almost any handgun. I carried a full size 1911 for the first several years and could conceal it very well but the weight of the loaded gun and a couple of spare magazines wore on you after a long day.

Since then I mostly carry either a full size Glock or a Sig P228. Again, pick the right holster and give some consideration on your dress and you will not have any problem. Then again, it is a good excuse to get a new handgun. Good luck.

Tard, a Miata, your Man Card is officially revoked, those are for them Metro-Sexuals. Momma is getting me a 36 gun safe this year for Christmas, I had to promise not to try to fill it in the 1st year though. Les
