Because these mom need the attention their kids bring them. That "costume" is actually based on the one Julia Roberts wore in pretty woman as a prostitute. The makeup and amount of money spent on that crap in unbelievable. Why can't kids be kids anymore?

OK, I'll play- how about the part where they LITERALLY whored out their what is she, maybe 2- or 3- year-old little girl, to somehow compensate for their miserable anonymous pathetic existence?

I see myself repeatedly punching the person who did this in the face until my hands can't punch anymore, taking a couple minutes to compose myself, then doing it all over. Three more times.

The real sad thing is there are much more revealing outfits on that show, its just because that one was designed after a prostitute character's that it is seen as "evil". If she can make a joke out of it, she is probably one of the "safer" pageant moms.
