Angry Defense Of 'Marriage' Is Now A HATE SPEECH!

Think not? Check this out - from our friends at the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals out in San Fransisco....

You can only wonder where all this cr*p will end.

Personally, I don't think I have any friends on that court!

Makes me want to give a hate speech to the court

Ah, the good ole' Ninth Circus.....taking liberal judicial activism into the 21st century. When my dad worked for the state of AZ he had to deal with them for about 25 years on his cases--they're the most overturned court in the country for a reason.

The Supreme Court overturns an enormous percentage of the Ninth Circuit's decisions and I doubt this will be any different.

Makes you wonder why these 'judges' aren't replaced on the bench. A simple 'recall' would work out real well here.

So what? Why don't the "defense of marriage" people file a law suit against the Gay-Straight alliance for the same thing? It says the Gay alliance sent out Emails- seems like easily proved harrasment to me. Then Everybody at work can shut the F up about unwork related things and get back to their JOB. I don't want to hear either sides tirade when I'm at work.

BTW, I think I've invented a way to please both sides of the marriage Debate. Just call straight marriage: MARRIAGE, and call gay marriage: GAY MARRIAGE. As in: Hey did Adam and Steve just get married?... No they got Gay married.

It's just like BEER and NON ALCOHOLIC BEER (they're both beer, but everybody already knows theres an OBVIOUS DIFFERENCE).

You know, they pretty much DO represent the people who live there.

It is, believe it or not, 'representative government' and why having a strong constitution is so important.

I used to read with disbelief the stupid things the lawmakers in SF said and the astoundingly stupid laws they created, figuring they'd all be tossed out in the next election.... then I visited SF. Wow.

Unfortunately, the district they cover also includes my home state (Nevada). And while the 9th Circuit is a pretty fair represtnation of the mindset of the Californi-whackos (I know you people west of me can't all be this crazy), they DON'T reflect my State's (or mine!!) beliefs on a varitey of things: gun ownership and possesion, marriage, taxes, land use, wildlife conservation,.... the list goes on and on. I, too, wish there was a larger movement to get the sitting judges removed/replaced.

Thumbs down Roflmfao

Rather than listen to all the 'hype' from the right-wing-nuts out on the 'Internets'...try to do a little research on the ACTUAL case and what was ACTUALLY ruled on.

It really has NOTHING to do with 'HATE SPEECH!!!' as the paranoid religious right might want you to think.

Here is a very good breakdown that outlines the reality of the case rather than the slanted and biased b.s. out there:

http://scienceblogs.com/dispatches/2...ssoc_v_hic.php

And here is the actual memorandum:

http://scienceblogs.com/dispatches/2...ssoc_v_hic.php

It takes some time to gather FACTS, but it really is worth knowing them.

The work place is the LAST place I want to be confronted with religious propaganda or propaganda of ANY kind! I doubt my associates at work would appreciate me wearing my “God is my savior…he saves me from REALITY!” tee-shirt at work, or even passing out or posting atheist material, just as I wouldn’t appreciate being preached at about some religious doctrine.

I am a happily married heterosexual who has ZERO issues with gays being able to get legally married and have the same rights and privileges that my wife and I enjoy. The whole gay-marriage B.S. is yet another example of religious people forcing their beliefs and doctrines down the throats of others and I am against it whole heartedly. As long as they are not infringing upon my rights, I could care less what they decide in regards to their personal lives or if they choose to be recognized as a ‘married’ couple.

Like it or not, the definition of ‘Family’ is changing and changing fast in this modern world of ours and sooner or later those that would like to be stuck in the past will need to face reality. I’m all for pushing that reality along.
