Wife's 1st time shooting

Started last weekend at the gun show where we picked up a used 22/45.

Went to the range today and she did great. Started off with the .22, which she loved. She shot my .40 and was ok with it. Then she shot my 642, not so much. Back to the .22, probably shot about 250 rds. I was ready to go but she was loving it.....until the guy with the Smith and Wesson 460 took the station next to us. This is on the 20yd range. His first rd. was kinda cool....concussion was awesome. After that, not so cool. Time to go...

Anyway, after 20 familiarity rds we put up this target....

This is at 7 yds, standing. Not too bad, huh?

Went inside to look at guns for her. What did she like? A Sig....she's getting kinda high maintenance.

Just got my wife a Sig P239 in .40. As soon as I get a holster for it, I'm planning on carrying it until her CPL comes! It's a great gun.

She started out on my uncle's S&W .22 semi-auto, and took the CPL course with a 9mm. She was the best one in her class! I'm really proud of her!

Sorry for the little hijack there.
