Yikes...I had not heard anything about police going door to door and confiscating firearms from citizens...during a disaster no less!?!?!

WFT? I hope there is SOMEONE suing the crap out of that city and police force if they actually did this! If not, why not?

The video wont load for me. Is it talking about Katrina? Several things went very wrong in the aftermath of Katrina, including firearm confiscation. I've often wondered what I would do in that instance.

Just as many think that 9-11 gave Bush the greenlight to go into Iraq, it is easy to believe that a situation like Katrina would spur the left into an all out gun grab.

Me? Well, I wouldn't have given them a damn thing if I was in New Orleans at that time. Thats just not going to happen. No need to discuss it, really.

I understand the NRA has filed suit to have the guns returned. Thus the law abiding citizen has incurred a theft at the hands of government. I understand guns are supposed to have been returned, but am not sure if the lawsuit has been stopped.

Sounds good on the Internet!
But when they drive an armored personnel carrier through your house and set off concussion gernades to cover the full-auto onslaught of the grab, well ................... I just hope we all make it out alive

Oh, I would have given them something. It would have been hot and exiting a barrel at high velocity.
