We have troops in harm's way today, fighting and dying for democracy and protection of our freedom and way of life.

In NOLA, we had knuckle headed politicians and police taking away basic freedoms right here at home in the blink of an eye and without a second thought. The police who gave orders to confiscate weapons from lawful owners should be jailed. The officers who followed them without question should be fired.

The second amendment allows us to bear arms to protect ourselves from those who would harm us, and from the tyranny of government. What happened there is exactly what everyone should be afraid of. The government tyranically steps in to deny you basic freedoms, and kick you off your own property once they render you defenseless against them. Wonderful.

I can understand ASKING people to evacuate their homes in an emergency, but if you're too friggin dumb to leave a burning building you deserve whatever you get.

true. Incase you didnt know the saturday night special laws were laws by the left, particularly the white democrats in the south that wanted to maintain fear over the blacks. Its not as much fun for the clan to go kick the crap of of lil black girls playing jump rope and shoot up their old mans farm if he comes out with a 12 guage and pops them, and his son is in the barn picking off clansmen at 200 yards. There was a time you had to buy military issue super high priced handguns in certain areas. The passed laws to basically price poor folks and blacks out of gun ownership.

anyone else sickened that what was it around 40-50 % of the NO cops abandoned their posts, for decades new Orleans has ranked with Detroit and dc as worst urban ghetto, and they don’t go into drug gang neighborhoods and kick down doors door to door and seize guns. But when common law abiding folks need their piece the most all the sudden they are their kicking down peoples doors.

Also interesting is Ray "chocolate city" Nagin afterwards claimed there was NO GUNS seized. Of course there was thousands and thousands seized and this came out and his name wasn’t dragged through the mud nationally like it should have been.

I have read about a late 70s or mid 80s lil old lady who proudly brandished her .22 rifle and the cops BODY SLAMED her. Not politely asked, or just took it from her, like any 80 year old has any hand strength much less an 80 year old woman. They bodied slammed her.

Louisiana is by faaaaar the most fawked up backwards, corrupt, racist (against whites), crime ridden, crap hole of a state in the union. I wish the whole state would have just washed into the ocean.

Does anyone know what happened to those cops ? Did they lose their pension or any criminal charges levied (pun intended) against them ?

It was a .22 revolver and this video starts off with her story. Big strong cops with rifles tackle an old woman legally holding a pistol in her own home like she's a criminal being arrested for dealing crack who pulls out a gun. It's absolutely disgusting and shameful in numerous ways.
