(PV) Grassfire: Christmas in Jail for Agents

From Steve ElliottPresidentGrassfire.org

Eric,

As you probably know, imprisoned border agent Glimer Hernandezis home. This is great news. But sadly, agents Ramos and Compeanare still sitting in jail.

Victims of Johnny Sutton's prosecutorial team, Jose Compean and"Nacho" Ramos are approaching their 300th day in prison -- hopingagainst hope that this horrible nightmare will somehow come to an end.

"This holiday season is going to be so hard for our families,"Monica Ramos told our staff recently. "We all want them homefor Christmas!"

We've been told that the odds of getting these men home withtheir families by Christmas seem slim. But their appeal is nowset for December 3, so there is hope. I believe their best hopeis if friends like you keep pressing their case.

++ Tie a Yellow Ribbon for Ramos and Compean

One of our staff members had an idea -- what if thousands ofcitizens displayed yellow ribbons for Ramos and Compean thisholiday season... On their Christmas trees. On their homes. In their cars. Everywhere.

What if we really set a goal to see these men released byChristmas and a little yellow ribbon sent a message allthe way to Capitol Hill and the White House?

We took the idea to Mrs. Ramos and Mrs. Compean and they loved it.So we stepped out and made thousands of yards of "BringHome Agents Ramos And Compean" yellow ribbon.

Go here to see the ribbon and find out more:

http://www.grassfire.org/8142/offer.asp?rid=14543688

Leading up to the hearings and throughout the Holiday Season,we are asking all members of our team to join our "Bring HomeAgents Ramos and Compean" yellow ribbon initiative. Eric, would you make this statement with me? Wouldyou display these yellow ribbons this holiday season? Our staff is preparing packs with enough ribbon for you tomake six individual ribbons (about two yards). Go here forthe details: http://www.grassfire.org/8142/offer.asp?rid=14543688

+ + Send a ribbon to the White House and Congress!

As soon as you get your ribbon, I want you to cut one off and send it immediately to the White House with a personalletter from you. Let's flood the White House with ribbons!Ask the President to put your ribbon on the PresidentialChristmas tree!

Those responsible for putting Ramos and Compean in prisonwant you to forget about them. They want you to forget thatthey have suffered unjustly for nearly 300 days. They wantyou to forget that their families are hurting.

But we won't forget, Eric. And our yellow ribboninitiative is the perfect symbol to keep Ramos and Compeanat the forefront of everyone’s mind throughout the Holiday Season. Thanks in advance for taking action with us.

Steve Elliott, PresidentGrassfire.org Alliance

P.S. We already sent 100 yards of ribbon to Mrs. Ramos and shewas thrilled! Let's do everything we can to help bring theseagents home... by Christmas if possible.

This sounds like a great idea. I have always believed they were railroaded to appease the government of Mexico.

They tell you they are not going to tax your family.
No, they’re just going to tax “businesses”! So unless you buy something from a “business”, like groceries or clothes or gasoline … or unless you get a paycheck from a big or a small “business”, don’t worry … it’s not going to affect you.

This story has been talked about down here for quite a long time. Thank God that Glenn Beck, O'Reilly and others are finally airng these stories so everyone will see how chaotic the border has become.

Glenn Beck had a segment on his TV program last night about Laredo and Nuevo Laredo. Well...its about time! We have known about all that garbage for years...welcome to the party.

I guess if DC was located where San Antonio sits, we'd have seen actin on this stuff decades ago, but the farther you get from the border...you haven't a friggin clue as to what goes on down here. Its nothing new....but it IS getting worse.

Maybe now, with more national coverage, we can get something done about it. Its more that just a few impoverished people coming here to mow your lawn, pick fruit or clean your toilets...ok?

From further south, but does MS13 ring any bells?

I noticed how the Zeta drug gang is now getting national coverage.

Again...welcome to the party, people!

Does the nation also know that the newly elected Sheriff of Nuevo Lardeo was gunned down in the street shortly after he took office? The guy claimed he was going to fix the corruption but the drug runners sent a message, saying who is really in charge down there. This was only a few years ago..not out of some movie script.
